Frédéric Vaissade, International Partnerships Manager of the NPA research team at UPMC, is involved in European projects management. Mr Vaissade is currently Project Manager for OpenLab, the large-scale integrating project (FIRE - ICT 2011.1.6). He has managed also at UPMC the following European projects: OneLab2, WIP and OneLab. He is also part-time lecturer at La Sorbonne University in Master2 "European studies" (lecture: Set up and manage a European Project), at the University Cergy-Pontoise in Master2 "European Project" (lecture: European Project Manager: the basics of the job), and at ISTIA Angers Engineering School in Master2 "Technology Transfer and European Projects" (lecture: Set up and manage a European Project). He previously worked as European Project Manager in the INRA Transfer consulting company where he successfully managed Co-Extra, a large FP6 Integrated Project with 51 partners, supported researchers in setting up new projects and trained new European Project Managers. He started his career as Business Manager at OSEO-ANVAR, the French Agency for Innovation. He has an MSc in both management and science: a management degree from HEC, a Masters degree specialized in technology and project management from the Ecole Centrale Paris, and a DEA in toxicology from the University of ParisV.
