Research mobility is particularly important in promoting knowledge flows and in ensuring a diverse and highly skilled workforce that has the capacity to respond to opportunities and challenges in the creation of an "Internet Science". This integration activity aims to promote new interdisciplinary academic networks by promoting knowledge flows and collaboration between institutions, and by increasing ties to transnational research.
