Why: Top-level delegates will identify possible goals, commitments and modalities of ICT sector commitments to be developed in the process leading up to the 2012 ITU *World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-12)* and United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD 2012 or Rio+20).

The 6th IFIP International Workshop on Self-Organizing Systems (IWSOS) will be held at Delft University of Technology on 15th and 16th March 2012.
The goal of the IWSOS workshops is to bring together leading international researchers and practitioners to create a visionary forum for discussing the future of self-organization. IWSOS addresses theoretical aspects of self-organization as well as applications in communication and computer systems and generally in complex networks. The topics thus fit into EINS.
